The Greek mountain tea is not only convincing in terms of taste, it also has a positive effect on health. It is not for nothing that mountain tea has been cultivated and drunk as a medicinal herb since ancient times. There are 150 different species of the plant genus Sideritis, from which mountain tea is obtained. The most famous, however, is the Sideritis Scardica. They grow in the Mediterranean from a height of 1000 meters and reach a height of about 50 meters. To this day, the tea is mainly hand-picked and dried in the sun.
